Why…
We are fortunate to live in a country that provides us with tremendous opportunities, and one way we can give back to our world is by reducing the impact we have on the environment. There are many things that can be done to help which are easy, inexpensive and meaningful. The culture of our company and the passion of our people put us in a position to create positive change.

How...
The initiative is coordinated by our EcoAction Facilitator, who works with the company’s sustainability committees across all offices. Each office has their own EcoTeam which identifies and implements ideas to affect positive environmental change at the jobsite, office and in their community. These are a few of the areas in which our company is looking to reduce our environmental impact and affect positive environmental change:

- Education of employees and clients on opportunities for sustainability
- Improving construction jobsite processes such as recycling construction materials
- Improving office operations such as recycling, reducing waste, purchasing green power and promoting paperless processes
- Evaluating transportation options for our employees and our job vehicles
- Looking beyond our own impact and providing outreach to environmental and community efforts such as Adopt-a-Highway
