5. Lower Umpqua Hospital, Reedsport, OR

Description: For this project, we replaced the exterior skin and removed dry-rot and mold, but the real challenge was finding a way for the work to take place during the winter weather without affecting the inside of the hospital. The system we developed included scaffolding and weather-wrapping the entire wing. The system withstood 90 mph winds during a particularly bad storm and the hospital remained open throughout the project.
